The content of a visual work of art cannot be seperated from the method of representation. The marks in a drawing are how the idea of reality are communicated to the viewer; similar to in writing, where the arrangement of specific words is the idea itself. The visual form is not an aura decorating something seperate from the art object, it is its shape and meaning.
In analytic art, the visual externalization is the analysis.
This analysis is not a large data information abstraction of reality, its intention is to critique, or represent reality as it is from a single consciouseness perspective made through a visual art form.
In analytic work, I make representations of faces / bodies / objects / spaces and any combination composed to convay a visual reality of my time as I see it.
